We do not allow registration with the American Kennel Club (AKC), nor do we agree with breeding to a conformation breed standard.

RESERVE NATIONAL CHAMPION NURSERY DOG 2008.
Littermate to "Soot"; Gunner is one of a kind. Gunner was a fun dog to train with plenty of challenges! He has a good attitude, moves sheep easily with nice pace. Has a strong eye and plenty of come forward. Gunner is a very natural outrunner. Gunner has moved up into Open this year and came out very strong. He works all types of sheep well and is a fantastic finish dog. Gunner has lots of heart and soul and is very loveable. Off of sheep Gunner is a very laid back boy who likes to sit on the couch with me and snuggle.

Gunner's performance at the Nationals in Sturgis was breathtaking. He moved those tough sheep around and was happy to do it. I will never forget running Gunner at Sturgis 2008. The Soot and Gunner litter are the first of my own breeding program to start running and I couldn't be happier.

Gunner has been sold to Matt Cook of Georgia...he loves Gun as much as I do!

 

 

 

K9znewe "TORI" - SOLD

Tori ("Soot's" daughter) is 1 year old (March 09)and full sister to brother Trapper she is starting on sheep and is plenty keen. Tori is a bit softer than I like for myself so I have decided to sell her. She is a very sweet dog. Housebroke, travels good, and petite in size. Tori is a medium coat, black and white with a lot of freckles. Tori would be suitable for a person looking for a more easy going good listener. Flanks both ways, stops, call off nice pace on fetch. She has not be started on outruns, or driving, I have only been working with her for a short time. Tori has been Sold to Mike and Diane Lazovich in Arizona who own her father Striker. Tori is now the queen of their household and they adore her.

 

 

 

K9znewe"TRAPPER"- SOLD

Born March of 08 and bred by Canines N Ewe. Trapper's dam is K9znewe"SOOT" and Sire is a Dog named Striker that has since been sold. This is a line breeding of Sweep. Trapper is a young dog that is about ready to run,. I will take it easy with him this Nursery season, because he is not two til next year. He has great feel, a nice outrun and has come into his own on the drive. My favorite thing about him is he is a great listener and is very sharp. Sold to Sally Douglas, who I know will enjoy him to the fullest, and will continue his training and trialing!

 

 

 

BREW - SOLD

Brew is same way bred as IMP. Callie. Off of Aled Owens Roy and Kevin Evans Maid. A royally bred little fellow, who is keen and laid back in the same minute. I know he will make a good dog...he is a good boy and hope his new owner enjoys him as much as we have. Sold to Terri Warner in Colorado

Risk was born May 2008. Is keen and ready to get going. He has a very cute and outgoing personality. Smooth coat, black and white, very natural on the sheep. Please contact me for further information on this dog. Sold to Sara Goodman (who has re-named him "ROB") who has continued his training and he has turned out to be a real nice young dog!

 

 

 

SLATE- SOLD

Slate: Born July of 2007 is perfectly aged for a 2 year nursery dog. I am just getting him going so he most likely will not run this year as there is no hurry. Slate is off of Joni Swanke's "Lew". Slate is a handsome fellow with lots of come forward. I am certain he will make a nice trial dog. Superb to travel with and great in the house. Slate gets along with all people and all dogs. Sold to Rochelle Stanford and Bob Dias who really love this guy!
